Vineyards1Hunter Valley wines are enjoying an ever-growing reputation for excellence – particularly the red Shiraz and the white Semillon, which are the ‘signature’ wines of the region. Red varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir and Merlot are enjoying an unprecedented rise in popularity and Verdelho is pressing Chardonnay for favouritism among the whites. An ever increasing range of delicious sparkling, dessert, fortified and cream wines is also available.
Whatever your preference, you’ll get to taste these and other varieties as you sip your way through at least five different vineyards or tasting outlets during this full day tour.
We’ll take you to a mix of small boutique and larger commercial wineries and tasting outlets that we’ve chosen over time as offering efficient and friendly service, along with quality wines at responsible, value-for-money prices.
